‘Reform’ the DHS and TSA?
When the United States government decided to federalize airport security through the DHS after 9/11, virtually every conservative, in talk radio, TV and print, did not think the feds would do a better job than the free market. Ron Paul is the only candidate tonight who has gone on record as wanting to still abolish it. Eight years of George W. Bush has now created a strange and un-conservative attachment to the national security state, something that did not exist, at least not in this way, on the Right prior to Bush.
The average American is right about the ridiculous and intrusive behavior of the TSA. So is Ron Paul.
